Hey Lyd,
I think it's great that you keep us communicating.  How's life  in Valencia? I was just wondering what happened to Kristy Woodall.  Do you know?

We are all great ~ Just plugging along!
I don't know anyting about Kristy Woodal's passing.  Maybe those in R/C, who might know, will respond to your inquiry.

You probably don't remember me, I was the on our girls basketball team. You had asked about Kristi Woodall..She was a dear friend to me..I was informed she died of a massive brain hemorrage. It has been several years now.

Thank you Cindy. Kristy Woodal was a joyful lady, and I loved her, too. Thank you for letting me know. It is tragic to hear that she died in such pain. I don't think that we would wish pain on anyone. I will always remember her humor, her beautiful smile, her sparkly eyes, and the fun I had with her on Bannergirls.  One of my favorite memories was at camp. We piled at least 25 of us into one of the camp elevators, and we got stuck between floors for almost two hours.  Kristy hollered out to the Camp Director, "Can you order five pizza s for us please?". She just kept us laughing.

Hey Jim, Last time I saw you,we were partying with Laura Pappas and Bill Earle at the all class reunion. That was all too tragic about Laura. She was one remarkable human being. Yes, Mexico suits you and would love to come on down and help! I'm in Bellingham WA working as a general contractor specializing in ultra custom stonework and installations. I am damn tired of the weather here! Hi Ronni and Lyd! Will keep checking in. Love you guys, Laura

 Hello everyone,

I had a good time at the reunion last year, thank you Lydia for working so hard, you did a great job.

 Jim Baker,

My father saw your post about you being in Puerto Penasco and asked me to ask where you are developing this trailer park.

I have a couple beach houses near there and plan on being down there this summer. Perhaps a margarita at the Pink Cadillac would be in order.

Lyd,

I think The Oceanhouse in Sept would be the best venue for everyone. It is big, nice, and serves food for those who want to make an evening adventure out of it.
But I would love to see everyone whenever and wherever they want.
Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Still recuperating and my feet aren't happy. I should be ready to kick up my heels soon. Checked out your website and tunes; lovin your sounds.

Hi Lydia,

Larry Attkisson told me to come and check out the site, he said that you didn't have my email address.  I sent it along through the "Contact Us".  I hope you are up to date.

Just hanging out in Vegas.  Been helping out a lot of family members, so things are just a little bit tight, but it's all good!  Been spending most of my time with my college football board game (a throw back to the seventies)that I released this past year.

Really sorry to see so many people that I knew have passed on.  Can't wait for the next reunion, will be there for sure.  Larry got me in touch with Scott Trickett.  It's been great emailing the both of them.

I can't thank you enough for getting us back together after all these years.

Much love,
Howard

Hi everyone!  I am sad to see that we have lost so many of our friends.  I remember many of them from Groves School.  Robert Rosas was my best friend back then, and I can remember going to Laura Thompson's 5th birthday party.  Brian Campbell and I used to go to YMCA summer camp...  My own life has been a little rough.  I've had some health problems and have not worked often.  I married early in life, but lost my sweetheart through a divorce that I have to say was mostly my fault.  We had no children though I would still love to be married again and enjoy family life.  Recently, in 2007, I was homeless for most of the year and landed in a hospital for a month.  I'm far from home and HOPE that someday I will see you all again.  God Bless, --George

Hey everyone, John Daly has asked me to post this:
My band, Live Wire will be performing 9:00PM on Friday, April 17 2009 at The Kraken in Cardiff By The Sea (San Diego north county coastal).
John is coming down to visit his boys and wanted to see my band, and was hoping to have some of our classmates come out and party.
Anyone in the San Diego area MUST be there! Anyone from out of town that can make it will get the first drink on me!
This is a fun place right on the beach, and John was hoping to see some of you to chat about old times.
Those of you that have see us perform know that we play a great mix of your favorite classic rock hits that are sure to make you want to dance.
Thanks,
Tony Garrett

Just wanted to add something:
For those who do come out to watch us play, you will getting an additional treat. Drew (Ootsie) Martin will be singing some songs (yes he does sing!) with us, as our regular lead singer will not be able to make the show that night.
So you will getting a "two-fer" that night. Make sure and buy him lots of drinks before he comes on stage!
Hope to see as many of you as possible!
Tony

And you girls throwing your panties on stage, well lets just say I won't live that down for a while!
Best to all my friends!

Hi Cath!  Holy crap,I just saw this! I am ok. I am so blessed as I just went through some serious surgery(girl stuff)and I survived,it was not cancer, plus it was majorly successful. I had it done at the University of Washington in Seattle and it went so well I was able to go home a few days earlier than expected. My doctors and the hospital are remarkable! The last six months were not at all fun and it was the prayers of my family and friends definately sailed me through this. Now,what's been going on with you and where are you? Looking forward to reconnecting! I have facebook or please send an email. I have another month of taking it easy then I am back to work. Your friend, Laura

I talked to my brother Brian yesterday.  He was saying that you visited the Arts Factory in Vegas for the First Friday event there and he got to chat with you.  It is a small world.  I've read about the happenings out there on the west coast with the reunion (quite the success as I understand it [congrats Lydia]), the sad passing of our classmates, and the whirlwind social activites.  I am in the Chicago area and have been since 84.  I don't think I am ever coming back, except to visit family. I am totally entrenched in a wonderful life here.  I am the proud partner of a beautful wife and lifemate and we have three fantastic sons. We travel a great deal around the country and are trying our darndest to see every National Park and Monument and out of the way spot in the country.  I am a amatuer photographer, but have had some pictures picked and published.  I do miss Ridgecrest and know that how I am, is a result of growing up there and all my interactions with friends and family.  I am happy with who I am and what I do.  Definetly no regrets.  Well that should be a brief run down on me for those who read the blog and may ever wonder what became of...  Brian said that you were as lovely as you were in high school.  Some people have all of the luck!  It was nice to here that my brother had bumped into some one from home and I was remembered.  Thats all anyone can ask of their life is to remembered.  Well I have rambled here in this space enough and you should all get back to the serious work of arranging the next mixer.  Hoist a pint for me and I will for you.  Peace favor all my classmates.

Regards,
John Swanson
